As both photographers and soon-to-be parents, my husband and I recently had the beautiful opportunity to document one of the most meaningful chapters of our lives—our maternity journey—right here in the heart of Florida at Lake Louisa State Park.

Nestled in Clermont FL, Lake Louisa is one of our favorite local gems, known for its golden hour glow, rolling hills, and tranquil lakeside views. It was the perfect natural backdrop for a maternity shoot that felt both peaceful and personal.

A Photographer Couple’s Unique Perspective

Being behind the lens is something my husband and I are both passionate about—so for this shoot, we decided to switch roles and step in front of the camera together. With tripods, remotes, and a shared creative vision, we created a maternity session that felt truly us.
